The latest test of the Airborne Laser was a failure as the chemical laser failed to bring down the target on Sept 1.
The test was suppose to validate the laser’s ability to shoot down a missile 100 miles away.
According to reports, the system did track and fired at the target but the laser was shut down prematurely.
