Canadian Defense Minister Peter MacKay announced during a visit to 3 Wing Bagotville, Quebec, that 3 Wing Bagotville in Quebec and 4 Wing Cold Lake in Alberta will be getting 24 F-35 fighters each.
The rest of the 17 fighters will go to a training unit at a location to be announced later.
