Pentagon waiting for Japan to sign F-35 security pact

The deputy head of the Pentagon’s Defense Security Cooperation Agency (DSCA) said Washington is waiting for Japan to sign a security pact before sales talk on the F-35 could start.

Richard Genaille said information that Japan seeks on the fighter cannot be provided unless a security agreement is entered.
