Washington approves export license for F-15SE to Seoul

The Pentagon has approved the export license of the F-15SE to South Korea. This is the first export approval for the jet.

The approval is important to Boeing as it fights against Eurofighter and Lockheed Martin for South Korea’s third phase FX fighter contest.

An official from the Defense Acquisition Program Administration (DAPA) was quoted as saying that a briefing will take place on Thursday whereby Boeing will brief South Korea on the Silent Eagle’s frontal aspect radar cross-section signature.
