U.S. Navy sacks three leaders in one day

One commanding officer, executive officer and a command master chief from the U.S. Navy were removed from their posts in a single day.

Capt. Ronald Murray Gero was removed as commander of USS Ohio’s blue crew. USS Mahan had its XO relieved after he hit a subordinate officer while the ship was underway.

The Command Master Chief onboard USS Theodore Roosevelt was relieved after he was caught lying to an investigating officer.
