Washington Times reported Wednesday that China carried out a secret missile test on Sept. 25 that could have ended in failure.
Times said a U.S. official has confirmed also that a missile was launched from the Taiyuan missile center, about 320 miles southwest of Beijing, to Korla, a city in western China some 1,800 miles away.
The test could be a anti-ballistic missile exercise and involves a second target missile.
