Lt. Col. Boyd “Buzz” Wagner, the first official U.S. Army Air Corps ace during World War 2, finally got his flyover 67 years after he was buried.
The missing-man formation was flown by the 17th Weapons Squadron, the successor unit to Wagner’s 17th Pursuit Squadron.
