Gen. Nicholas Houghton, vice chief of Britain’s defense staff, told reporters in Washington that he would welcome a decision by the U.S. Air Force to buy refueling tankers from EADS.
Houghton said choosing the Airbus tanker will bring commercial benefit, and their militaries could operate better together if they used the same kind of aerial tanker.
