USAF delays KC-X decision, sent info to rivals

The U.S. Air Force will decide the winner of its KC-X competition next year. It also disclosed that it sent wrong documents to Boeing and EADS.

The Air Force said a “clerical error” allowed bid analysis documents to be sent to rival companies.

Col. Les Kodlick, the Air Force director of public affairs, said both companies immediately recognized the clerical error and contacted the Air Force.
