Two officials removed over KC-X error

The U.S. Air Force has reassigned two of its officials for sending wrong documents for the aerial tanker contest to rival bidders.

Gen. Norton Schwartz, Air Force chief of staff, said the competition had not been undermined and would go ahead as planned.

The information that was accidentally leaked is related to “an efficiency analysis” of both tankers. The analysis was on a scenario to determine how many tankers were required to carry out a specific mission.
