The Australia Department of Defense has decided to add the Joint Air to Surface Standoff Missiles (JASSM) to the Projects of Concern list.
The press statement said the “project is running late and risks to capability remain.”
Australia decided to purchase the JASSM for its F/A-18A/B fleet in 2004 to improve aircraft survivability and weapon effectiveness.
