Iran sent hit squads into Iraq and assassinated numerous former Iraqi fighter pilots who fought in the Iran-Iraq war, WikiLeaks revealed.
The U.S. diplomatic cable from Dec. 14, 2009 said 182 pilots had been hunted down and killed by Iranian agents by that time. Another 800 had fled the country.
