Northrop Grumman to pay $5.2m fine on B-2 paint

Northrop Grumman will pay a fine of $5.21 million to settle allegations related to tests on a paint system it developed for the B-2 stealth bomber.

The U.S. government alleged that the Advanced Topcoat System develop by Northrop Grumman for the B-2 has flaws but the company failed to disclose it.

The company agreed to pay the fine with no acknowledgment of any wrongdoing.
