Folks from the Project 2049 Institute believes the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation’s (CASC) China Academy of Launch Technology is developing a new two-stage solid-fueled conventional ballistic missile.
Whats interesting is that the chief designer of this new missile is also serving as technical director for a maneuverable conventional missile system. This system will remain in the atmosphere during its entire flight and could make it difficult for missile defense systems to intercept it successfully.
