Nine of the 57 men who took part in the longest bombing mission in aviation history gathered together on Saturday to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the mission.
Seven B-52Gs from the 596th Bomb Squadron took off from Barksdale AFB to carry out the first use of conventional Air Launched Cruise Missile (CALCM) in Operation Desert Storm against Iraq.

Thanks guys, for remembering those who MODIFIED, READIED, AND LOADED those ALCM’s for use in the first place! How do you arrive at 57 men…I damn sure wasnt mentioned.
