An Indian Navy officer who was posted to Russia to oversee the refit of aircraft carrier Admiral Gorshkov has been sacked for having sexual relations with a Russian woman.
Explicit photographs of him and the woman surfaced during India’s negotiations for a new price for the carrier.
It was thought that he had compromised India’s position during the negotiations. However, the Navy stressed that his “transgressions” did not compromise India’s position.
