Recent comments by South Korea’s Defense Acquisition Program Administration suggest a move to buy 36 Boeing AH-64 Apache Block III helicopters.
South Korea has longed planned to replace its 500MD and AH-1 attack helicopters with the Apache but the program has been plagued by budget problems since the 1990s.
