JASDF scrambled 386 times in 2010

The Japanese Air Self Defense Force had to scramble its fighters 386 times in fiscal 2010, this is the highest number since 1991.

Compare to 2009, this is an increase of 29 percent. 96 of the intercepts involved Chinese aircraft while the rest are from Russia.
