Chengdu’s J-20 made two flights on May 5 and the undercarriage was retracted for the first time. Eye witnesses reported that the aircraft took off at 3:30pm local time and returned at 4:24pm. The landing gear was retracted at 3:37pm. Later in the evening, the J-20 made another flight at 5:50pm and landed at 6:47pm.
