Stealthy Black Hawk doomed by vortex and high walls

During his debrief to U.S. lawmakers, Vice Admiral William McRave told them that one of the Black Hawk helicopter had to crash land after entering a vortex condition caused by higher than expected temperatures and high walls surrounding the compound.

This prevent the helicopter from generating sufficient lift to hover and allow the SEALs to rappel down.
