Turkey says it could build an aircraft carrier

Turkey has the capability to build its own aircraft carrier, the country’s defense industry undersecretary said on Saturday.

However, the country will also need two destroyers, four missile boats, a replenishment tanker and 40 fighters before acquiring a carrier.
