A U.S. diplomatic cable leaked by WikiLeaks said some airmen of the Pakistan Air Force have been radicalized and were sabotaging F-16s.
The cable, obtained by NDTV, quotes Pakistan’s then Deputy Chief of Air Staff for Operations, Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Khalid Chaudhry, as claiming that some are sabotaging the fighters to prevent them from supporting ground operations against the Taliban near the Afghan border.
