First time U.S. fighter jet transported back home using cargo jet

For the first time in history, a U.S. fighter jet had to be transported back to the United States using a cargo jet.

The Super Hornet from VFA-22 had made an emergency landing at Kandahar, Afghanistan in March. The aircraft was severely damaged when both brakes caught fire.
