Commander Leslie Hull-Ryde, a Pentagon spokeswoman, replied in an email to Bloomberg that China has developed a “workable design” of its DF-21D anti-ship ballistic missile.
The country has also put in place satellites that can provide rudimentary targeting data on large surface ships in the region.
