Washington has acceded to Tokyo’s request to move an exercise at Kadena Air Base, Okinawa to Guam this month.
It will be the first time U.S. military exercises held in Japan will be shifted elsewhere.
USAF F-15 exercises at Kadena are expected to move to Guam as well.
