A subcontractor to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Ltd was hacked and hackers may have stole data on the ASM-1 (Type 80) anti-ship missile.
A report on the weapon, classified as sensitive information, was downloaded but the Defense Ministry deemed it as not sensitive.
