The international version of the Super Hornet will be able to carry three Enclosed Weapons Pods with up to 12 AMRAAMs and wing-tip-mounted AIM-9Xs.
Coupled with uprated variant of the General Electric F414, the new Super Hornet will be able to accelerate faster than the current aircraft.
