Pentagon admits drone missing, Iran claims it shot down RQ-170

Iran says it has shot down an American RQ-170 while the U.S.-led International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan admitted that a drone that had been sent on a mission over western Afghanistan late last week had been lost.

U.S. officials said it is unlikely that Iran shot down the plane.
