U.S. Navy jets to fly with used cooking oil

The U.S. Navy and Agriculture Department has announced a plan to buy 450,000 gallons of biofuel to power the Navy’s jets.

The fuel will be used in the U.S. Navy’s demonstration of a Green Strike Group in the summer of 2012 during the Rim of the Pacific Exercise (RIMPAC).
