Unmanned K-MAX delivers cargo to front-line troops in Afghanistan

U.S. Marines from Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 1 in Afghanistan have carried out the first unmanned aerial system cargo delivery there on Dec. 17.

The unmanned K-MAX moved 3,500 pounds of food and supplies to troops at Combat Outpost Payne.
