F-35s grounded due to ejection seat problems

Some F-35s are being grounded after it was discovered that the parachutes inside the ejection seats are not properly packed.

Those grounded are flying at Edwards Air Force Base, nine fighters at Eglin Air Force Base and some at Lockheed’s Fort Worth plant.

Planes that are at NAS Patuxent River are not affected as they are equipped with older seats with properly packed parachutes.
