USAF to spend $2.8 billion to upgrade F-16s with AESA radars, structural modifications

U.S. Air Force Secretary Michael Donley told the Air Force Association that his service will be spending $2.8 billion over the years to upgrade about 350 of its F-16s.

The fighters will get new AESA radars and structural upgrades to help offset slower purchases of the F-35.
