Yonhap news agency reported that North Korea is using MQM-107D Streaker target drones as a development platform for its unmanned attack aircraft.
An anonymous military source said North Korea acquired several MQM-107 from a Middle Eastern nation that appears to be Syria.
It has carried out numerous tests with explosives mounted but has yet to master the technology.
