Lockheed Martin loses $31.5 million in F-35 bonus

Lockheed Martin lost $31.5 million in payments for the F-35 after failing to meet three milestones. The company could have earned $52.5 million.

Two of the milestones were on software development while the remaining one is for “suitability” tests of aircraft carrier launch and recovery.
