Spain wants to include F-100 frigates in missile defense shield

Spain wants its F-100 frigates to play a part in the U.S.-led European missile defense shield. Spanish military sources say both countries are negotiating a deal.

Spain’s F-100 frigates needs only a software update for their SPY-1 AEGIS radars and installation of SM-3 interceptors.
