The Israeli air force and navy have decided to extend the service life of their Israel Aerospace Industries Westwind 1124 maritime patrol aircraft.
Both have decided not to retire the aircraft and rely solely on the IAI Heron UAS as the 1124 offers a high speed dash capability.
