North Korea to launch satellite next month

North Korea said Friday it would put a satellite into orbit next month to mark the 100th birth anniversary of Kim Il Sung.

A Unha-3 rocket will carry the Kwangmyongsong-3 earth observation satellite into space from the Sohae Satellite Launching Station in Cholsan County, North Phyongan Province between Apr. 12 and 16.
