Capt. Barry F. Crawford Jr., a Joint Terminal Attack Controller, was awarded the Air Force Cross during a Pentagon ceremony Apr. 12 for his actions in Afghanistan in 2010.
The Air Force Cross is the service’s highest medal, and second only to the Medal of Honor.
