USAF tells pilots to throttle back

The U.S. Air Force has ordered its pilots to fly higher and slower in order to conserve fuel. For example, C-17 pilots have to reduce their speed from 507 knots to 493 knots.

F-35 BK-1 makes maiden flight

Britain’s first F-35, BK-1, has made its first flight on Friday with Lockheed Martin test pilot Bill Gigliotti at the controls.
