40 Russian bombers will exercise near Japanese border
Russia has started a five-day exercise near the Japanese border with 30 Tu-95MS Bear strategic bombers and 10 Tu-22M3 Backfire bombers taking part.

USAF tells pilots to throttle back
The U.S. Air Force has ordered its pilots to fly higher and slower in order to conserve fuel. For example, C-17 pilots have to reduce their speed from 507 knots to 493 knots.
