The 4th Fighter Wing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base launched 70 F-15E Strike Eagles in a training mission to destroy more than 1,000 targets.
The mission is to commemorate the destruction of more than 1,000 enemy fighters by the 4th Fighter Group during World War II.
