ATK has developed a percussion-primed, link-feed version of the Apache’s M230 30mm chain gun for the U.S. Navy. The new M230L features an improved recoil system and a 60-inch barrel for increased accuracy.
The Navy plans to install the new gun on its Sea Hawks and patrol crafts.
