The U.S. Air National Guard hopes to improve the intercept capability of its F-15C by equipping the fighter with Lockheed Martin’s Sniper pod.
To adapt the new pod to the legacy fighter, engineers develop an adapter with parts from the F-15E and installed a new 8-by-10-inch display in the cockpit.
