U.S. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta told attendees of the Shangri-La Dialogue that the Pentagon will shift more Navy warships to the Asia-Pacific region by 2020.
About 60 percent of the fleet will be assigned there while maintaining six aircraft carriers.
