Hmong pilots who were recruited by the CIA and the U.S. Air Force to fly T-28s and helicopters during the Vietnam War will be recognized at the first Hmong Pilot Veteran Reunion and Service Recognition Awards.
Lt. Gen. Eric Fiel, head of Air Force Special Operations Command, will present medals at the reunion on behalf of the U.S. Air Force.
