Chief of Naval Operations Adm. Jonathan Greenert wants to arm his air assets with long-range anti-ship weapons that will allow them to engage the enemy outside its air defenses.
Three weapons highlighted are: the AGM-154 Joint Stand-Off Weapon model C; an anti-ship version of the Block IV Tactical Tomahawk; and DARPA’s new long-range anti-ship missile.
