Two air crews from VX-1 flew the P-8A at Marine Corps Base Hawaii for the types first debut at the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) exercise this year.
One of the 24 missions flown had Adm. Cecil D. Haney, U.S. Pacific Fleet commander, joining in.
