A picture circulating among the Chinese internet purporting to be the first Shenyang J-16 prototype could be real. Besides having the serial 1601, the aircraft spots an inflight-refueling probe, twin wheel nose landing gear, remove of the backup pitot tube on the side of the canopy as well as the large antenna behind the cockpit.

Australia deploys its own CRAM in Afghanistan

Australia has replaced a leased Swedish Piranha 740 Counter Rocket Artillery and Mortar (CRAM) with its own Giraffe Full Operational Capability System in Tarin Kot, Afghanistan.

Co-pilot of CV-22 flew into rotor wake of another CV-22 before crash

The investigation into the crash of a USAF CV-22 near Eglin Air Force Base in June found that the co-pilot at the controls had “inadvertently” flew through the rotor wake of the lead aircraft.

JDAM-ER completes wing tunnel tests

Indian Air Force Mi-17s collided in mid-air

Nine on board two Indian Air Force Mi-17 helicopters were killed when both aircraft collided in mid-air in Gujarat’s Saurashtra region on Thursday.

CAPES program to update USAF F-16s with new capabilities

Lockheed Martin gets contract to add Israeli equipment in F-35A
