Two U.S. Navy carrier strike groups are currently operating around South China Sea, the 7th Fleet said in a press release.
George Washington CSG is in the Philippine Sea after recently completing the Valiant Shield 2012 exercise in Guam.
USS John C. Stennis was tasked to return to the 7th Fleet’s area of operation four months ahead of schedule and is now in South China Sea.
