Tukish F-16s forced Syrian A320 to land in Ankara, aircraft now free to depart

Turkish F-16s forced a Syrian Air A320 to land in Ankara after Turkish officials were tipped off that the plane was carrying arms to Syria.

The airliner and its passengers were permitted to leave several hours later. The flight was from Moscow to Damascus when it was intercepted by Turkey at around 6:30 p.m.
