CIA Director David H. Petraeus has put in a request to the White House for up to 10 armed drones to boost the agency’s fight against new North Africa al-Qaida threats.
The al-Qaida in the Islamic Maghreb has been linked to the deadly Sept. 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
